• Intake appointments are booked a week in advance on a first come first serve basis.
• We begin booking appointmentes at 9 a.m. on Monday mornings for all available appointments the folllowing week. We encourage callers to contact us at this time as appointments fill quickly.
• Please note we do not book appointments by voicemail. If the line is busy, please call back to book an appointment.
• Caseworkers do not provide legal information over the phone. In order to obtain summary information or access legal information and representation, clients must first attend an intake appointment.

• As all SLA Caseworkers are also full-time law students, they attend regular class during office hours. As such, your Caseworker may not be available at the time you call. If this is the case, please leave a detailed message with SLA reception and your message will be passed onto your Caseworker, who will return your call as promptly as possible.
• If the reason for your call is urgent, please advise SLA reception.
• When leaving a message for your Caseworker, always leave the number to reach you and best time to call.
• It is important that we have your most up-to-date contact information on file. Please advise us immediately of any change to your contact information, including phone number, address and email address.

The SLA office is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The SLA office is closed on week-ends and statutory holidays.

SLA is open year-round and operates three on-site legal clinics during the year:

• Fall Clinic: September 26, 2011 - December 1, 2012
• Winter Clinic: January 9, 2012- March 30, 2012
• Summer Clinic: April 30, 2012 - August 17, 2012
